What is SBI PO Exam?
Every year State Bank of India (SBI) invites applications to recruit candidates for the position of Probationary Officer (PO). The SBI PO National Level Written Exam takes place in two phases: Prelims and Mains. All the candidates who qualify the preliminary examination get shortlisted and become eligible to appear for the Main examination. Post this round, the candidates who qualify are shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 
SBI Exam 2023 Exam Notification and Overview

The notification for SBI Exam 2024 is expected to be released soon. It will contain essential details such as the number of vacancies across various SBI branches in India and the distribution of these vacancies among different categories, including General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. This notification will also cover important exam dates, application process, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and syllabus. Candidates interested in applying for SBI PO, Clerk, or other positions should keep an eye on the official SBI website for the latest updates.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2024

SBI prescribes SBI PO eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, nationality, and age limit. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Candidates not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be rejected from the selection process.

Age Limit: The age limit prescribed for SBI PO exam is 21 and 30 years. Relaxation in age limit is given to unreserved categories.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.

Number of Attempts: The maximum number of attempts is fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in the prelims exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in mains exam is counted.

SBI PO 2024 Application Process

SBI PO application form 2024 will be released soon. The link will be activated on the official website of SBI. The application process comprises stages such as registration, uploading the scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application form and payment of application fees. The application fee for the exam is INR 750 for General/EWS/OBC categories and SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from fee payment. Any graduate candidate can apply for SBI PO exam.

SBI PO Cutoff 2024

SBI PO cutoff is released separately for prelims exam, mains exam and final selection. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure in the prelims exam, mains exam and group exercises and interview. The cut off is applied to the overall score. To check the SBI PO cutoff, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number, date of birth, and verification code. There is no sectional cutoff in the exam. Candidates are only required to secure the overall aggregate cutoff marks. Candidates can check below previous years’ SBI PO cut off.
