What is NMAT Exam?
NMAT is a national level entrance exam which grants admission to colleges such as NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. You can take your exam at most up to 3 times i.e. one attempt and 2 retakes. However NMIMS Mumbai has recently started to accept only the score of your first attempt.

NMAT 2023 Exam Notification and Overview
The NMAT 2023 exam being conducted in January will be an additional slot for students. The exam registration closed on January 10, 2023 and the exam was conducted from January 11-15, 2023.
The main NMAT 2023 exam will continue to be computer adaptive like last year. What this means is that the level of difficulty of the previous question would determine the difficulty level of the next question. NMAT 2023 exam (to be conducted in October – December as done every year) is expected to be held at more than 66+ test centers across 55+ cities in India, along with 4 international centers. It allows students up to 3 attempts which have to have a 15-day gap. In addition to this, the students also have the facility to reschedule the date and time according to their convenience within the 88-day test window.

NMAT 2023 Eligibility
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the eligibility criteria to appear in NMAT 2023 exam. The detailed eligibility criteria prescribed for NMAT by GMAC is given below.
- Academic Qualifications – Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least 50 percent marks.
Can third year students take NMAT? Yes they can. However, admissions will be given to those who complete their graduation by that time. Which means final year students pursuing their Bachelor’s degree (regular) can appear for NMAT 2021 exam and will be given provisional admission only if they pass their Bachelor’s with 50% and qualify via NMAT exam.
- Age Limit – There are no age limit restrictions.
- Work Experience – Candidates need not have work experience to appear for NMAT 2021 exam. However, candidates with work experience of two or more years will be given preference during admission process.
NMAT 2023 Application Fee
NMAT notification offers details about the registration fees in detail. After registering and paying the registration fees students will have the option of scheduling their exam. Students can also reschedule the exam by paying the rescheduling fee. The application fee for NMAT 2023 exam (additional slot) is as follows –
