The GRE exam date that you choose should be at least two to three months before your first university application deadline. So if the deadline for your application is November, you should choose a test date for August or September. If you feel the need to retake the GRE exam, you can take it in October again.   1. Indian School of Business (ISB): There is no fixed GRE cut-off; however, a score of around 720 is often regarded as competitive for applicants with average profiles​

  2. IIM Ahmedabad: The overall cut-off for the PGP program is around 650​(

  3. IIM Bangalore: The cut-off is also approximately 650 for general category students​

  4. IIM Calcutta: Similar to the other IIMs, IIM Calcutta has a GRE cut-off around 650​

  5. XLRI Jamshedpur: The cut-off for their MBA programs typically hovers around 300 to 350 on the GRE 

  6. SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR): They consider a GRE score between 580 and 600 to be competitive​
