What is IBPS Clerk Exam?

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Recruitment exam is the national level exam for the candidates for recruitment in the Public Sector Banks in the country based on the Selection Process set by the official exam conducting authority. Various banks recruit candidates based on the result of the IBPS Recruitment exam.

The IBPS Clerk National Level Written Exam takes place in two phases: Prelims and Mains. All the candidates who qualify the preliminary examination get shortlisted and become eligible to appear for the Main examination.

Notably, the application process was open from July 1 to July 28, 2024, and all candidates had to apply online via the official IBPS website. IBPS Clerk Recruitment Eligibility 2024

Here are the latest details regarding the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 Eligibility based on the official updates:

  • Nationality:

    • You must be an Indian citizen or from Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1962. Other nationalities need a government certificate.
  • Age Limit:

    • You need to be between 20 and 28 years old, with relaxation for categories like SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates.
  • Educational Qualification:

    • A bachelor’s degree in any field is required. You also need basic computer knowledge, either from a course or studied as part of your education.

IBPS Clerk Cutoff 2024

The IBPS Clerk Cutoff 2024 will be announced separately for the Preliminary and Mains exams.
